Spring Band Concert
Last night’s Spring Band Concert was a big success! Thank you to Mr. Doherty for organizing the concert and for preparing the students to perform. The students sounded wonderful and were very proud of their performances.
Lost Clothing Looking for their Owners: Lost and Found
Our lost and found is jam packed with jackets, sweatshirts and hoodies at this time. The second most abundant items are shoes, then lunch items. Please encourage your child to check the lost and found area if they are missing a jacket or a shoe. We will be donating any remaining items at the lost and found after next week, or at the start of the week of starting Tuesday.
School Fees Owing
As our school year is quickly drawing to a close, encourage parents and legal guardians to pay outstanding fees through their MyCBE account by June 30.
Library Books
The replacement cost for lost or damaged books will be added to school fees and can be paid online through MyCBE account.
Provincial Achievement Test Schedule
The June PATs start on Friday. Contact Ms Cochrane directly if there are any conflicts with the test writing schedule - also if your child will be late for a PAT or is ill the morning of a PAT. According to the test administration guidelines, for illness, a student should write at the next available opportunity.

Moving Schools? Contact the Office
If your child will be attending a different school in September, please give written notice to the office, especially if the school is outside of the school district. Please include the full name and grade of your child, the name of the new school, if known.
Rideau Park’s student enrolment is projected to be over-capacity with most grades. The written notice of attendance elsewhere will help us manage our waiting list for next year's placements.
Leaving CBE? Save Your Digital Files
Students must save digital files/emails they wish to keep to a personal account or drive by June 25. Read the Don’t Ghost Your Inbox news story posted on our website to learn more.

Reminder – Sign Out Procedures when Students Leave School Early
We are receiving an increasing number of requests to allow students to leave school during instructional time on their own without a parent signing them out. Although we did make some exceptions when Mission Bridge was closed to traffic, to allow students to meet parents at the end of the foot bridge or on their own, the bridge is open to traffic again and we need to take care to follow school district guidelines. Students in grades K to 9 must be signed out in person by a parent or adult listed on the ‘school pick up’s list’ in PowerSchool. Thank you for understanding this important safety and security issue.
