Registration for 2025-26 began on Monday, January 13.  If your child is interested in an alternative program or will be transferring to a different school, Expression of Interest / transfer requests should be submitted prior to February 10 at noon for any school/programs that are listed as lottery schools.

Reminder | Kindergarten AM Drop-off

A reminder for parents that Kindergarten start time is 9:05 am and there must be a hand-to-hand drop off for Kindergarten students. Exceptions are made when the weather is inclement or extremely cold.  Additionally, you can contact Ms McDonald in advance to arrange any one-time exceptions

Inter-School Athletics | Spectators

The volleyball season of play starts next week.  Student spectators who come to cheer on our Rams are reminded that they must show good sportsmanship to all teams and players, and must not interfere with the games, matches or student volunteers. In our gym, for volleyball, the player serving can stand very close to the stage where spectators are seated.  If choosing to sit along the end of the stage, it is even more important to be respectful and not interfere with other teams setting up for service.

Spectators are reminded that they may be asked to leave the school if causing interference and/or engaging in disrespectful behaviours.

Information | High School Programs

All Grade 9 students have been designated to their high school. Students are designated to schools according to their home address.  You can find your designated high school by using the Find A School tool at the main CBE website.

High School Course Requests: Submitting high school course requests, for both academic and complementary subjects, is the next step for students.

For Western Canada, students will be required to enter their course requests into PowerSchool starting February 10 and return a paper form that they’ve reviewed choices with their parents/guardians. For other high schools, information will be shared with the individual students when the information is received.

Student Tour: students will be touring Western Canada on January 27 during the afternoon. An information letter will be sent home with students and emailed to parents on Friday, January 17.

High School Transfer Form: the transfer form for high school programs opens on February 1. This is an online form. Transfers are considered for specific programs, address change, and IB Program.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Program: students who are interested in the IB program must complete the Expression of Interest form and email it, along with a copy of the January report card, to their designated IB school.

For Western Canada, the completed Expression of Interest form & Report Card should be emailed to Susan Rivers.
