Shirt Week: During the last week in February. Students are encouraged to participate by wearing a shirt with the following themes:
- Monday, Feb 24 – Favourite Colour
- Tuesday, Feb 25 – I Love _______ (sports team, musical artist, dog/cats/horses, artist, photograph, etc)
- Wednesday, Feb 26 – Pink Shirt Day: wear pink to show support for anti-bullying initiatives
- Thursday, Feb 27 – Place Connections (a shirt indicating a favourite place: city, park, country, cottage, lake, mountain, etc)
Kindness Challenge: There are flyers posted throughout the school encouraging various kindness challenges. All classes received some rainbow coloured shapes that students can use to write notes of gratitude towards their peers, staff or teachers at RPS. There’s a special box in the office for these notes and the Leadership Club will be creating a mural in the front entrance.
